Hilary has been practicing for over a decade, beginning in private practice in commercial and real estate litigation and moving in-house in 2012 to handle commercial contracts and real estate for Level 3 Communications, now CenturyLink. Hilary handled all aspects of litigation, from fact finding to depositions to arguing before the Colorado Court of Appeals. At Level 3, Hilary handled a variety of commercial contracts, ranging from service and product agreements to software licenses to construction agreements. She was also the lead attorney for Level 3's real estate, handling acquisitions and dispositions, licenses, easements, leases, and land use issues.
Now back in private practice, Hilary assists software, hardware, and service providers, real estate professionals, and individuals looking for general real estate and contract advice. Her litigation background gives her a unique perspective. She understands the disputes that may arise, the risks to look for, and how careful drafting on the front-end can save years of time and resources down the road.
Hilary is a Colorado native, growing up on the eastern plains in Yuma, CO. She received her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude, from Colorado State University.
Outside of her legal career, Hilary is a mom, wife, daughter, and sister and loves nothing more than her family. She is an avid runner and enjoys anything outdoors, especially in the high country.
